Design Brief Template — for Free Mockups
A template your leavers committee can fill in before requesting mockups. The clearer your brief, the better the first concepts come back.
Section 1 — School & year
School name, suburb, state. Year level (e.g. Year 12 2026). Approximate quantity.
Section 2 — Colours
Primary colour (with hex code if you know it). Secondary colour. Any accent colour. Whether you want to stick strictly to school colours or are open to alternatives.
Section 3 — Crest / logo
Attach your school crest as a PNG or vector if possible. Note where you want it placed (chest, sleeve, back).
Section 4 — Style direction
Classic, varsity, minimal, bold, retro, street. Reference 1–2 designs from our gallery if any caught your eye.
Section 5 — Personalisation
What goes on the back: surname, nickname, year (e.g. '26'). Number, optional.
Section 6 — Deadline
The date you need the gear in students' hands.
