School Leavers Jersey Trends — 2026

What we're seeing right now across Australian schools designing their year 12 gear.

1. TREND 1

   Cream and burgundy

   Move away from the harsh whites of the early 2020s. Cream against burgundy or forest green reads premium and feels timeless when students look back.

2. TREND 2

   Premium brushed fleece revival

   Premium brushed fleece varsity jackets with embroidered crests are back. Schools are choosing them over jerseys for a graduation-day keepsake feel.

3. TREND 3

   Full nicknames on the back

   Year groups in 2026 are leaning into long, multi-word nicknames — embracing the inside joke. Our print process handles long names easily.

4. TREND 4

   Subtle monograms

   Less crest, more typography. Schools with a strong wordmark are running monogram-heavy designs over busy patterns.

5. TREND 5

   Year-only branding

   Removing the school crest entirely in favour of bold '26' typography across the front. Distinctive, modern, easier for the year group to feel ownership.

6. TREND 6

   Earth-tone colourways

   Olive, terracotta, sand and forest are replacing pastels. Especially strong in hoodies.

7. TREND 7

   Full-sleeve prints

   Designs that wrap onto the sleeve cuff and inside-collar — small details students notice.

   Group photos on the inside

   Printed group photos on the inside front panel — only the wearer sees it.
